Puckett’s Pigeon Forge• Live Music with SAMSON FERRELL• Samson Ferrell has been playing music most of his life. He learned the basics from the old bluegrass pickers in his church, learning songwriting and other styles in the process. After a short hiatus for work and family Ferrell returned to performing in 2014. He shares a deep connection with America’s veterans and will never miss an opportunity to play for them or support them in any way. Samson has been performing solo shows all across the Southeast drawing comparisons to the likes of Waylon Jennings, Chris Stapleton & The Steeldrivers. His songs touch on stories from the shadowy side of the mountain. With an Appalachian Valley vibrato that purrs like a well tuned engine he croons through songs of Gunslinging Grandfathers and other whiskey soaked tales.
