Anakeesta• Shamrock Celebration • Live Music From The Crossjacks • The Crossjacks perform traditional folk music carried across time by sailors and settlers from the Old World to the New, along with contemporary songs of Old-World lineage. They are popular players at pirate, Renaissance, Medieval, Viking, Celtic, and Highland festivals all over the U.S., and they were recently voted one of the top artists on the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Hailing from various ports of call in East Tennessee, The Crossjacks are Mark Dudek (vocals/guitar), Dawn Cunningham (violin), and Reagan DeBusk (flute/mandola/percussion). • From 12:00 – 4:15 pm • Luck of the Irish joins Magic in the Mountains for Anakeesta’s Shamrock Celebration! This March at Anakeesta, you might not find a pot of gold, but the memories made will be worth even more! Anakeesta’s Shamrock Celebration kicks off Mar. 10 and will run through Mar. 19.Guests will get to experience the magic in the mountains with a twist! Our villages will be decked out in Irish-themed St. Patrick’s Day décor, Celtic music will fill the air and guests can enjoy live entertainment all day long.Live acts will include The Crossjacks, Wild Blue Yonder and bagpiper Kelly Shipe. If that’s not enough to get you in the spirit, participating food and beverage locations will be serving green beer for the entire celebration.
